mishwarner Newbie Registered: 09/09/06 Posts: 7	Hi everyone, How do I kill of the golden child? He really annoys me. He keeps "making a party" and distracting all my villagers from getting tech points etc and he keeps magically creating food. I want my villagers to subsist on their own, not some freak child to do it all for them. Please help!

miwts Consigliere Registered: 05/02/06 Posts: 251	You cannot kill off the Golden Child. Sometimes he can get "sick" but he never dies.

I got him before all the building and digging was done and it took me forever to get the builders to concentrate. I started a new game and this time all that can be done without the little bugger is going to be done first. Geez ... after he shows up I just want to delete the game really.

biddy Consigliere Registered: 08/08/06 Posts: 204 Loc: Lancashire Great Britain	Oh but he can die if you get an event - Nyota Master Parent aged 5 died after being bitten. I am now leaving the village to see if I can get another one!!! so far his puzzle is still lit.

biddy Consigliere Registered: 08/08/06 Posts: 204 Loc: Lancashire Great Britain	to get the GC(PIA) you need to complete various other puzzles and to have level 3 in most techs, you then have to something with a nursing mom - hope this is not too specific for you!!

Of ALL people, it was HIM that just got the Island Event with the mysterious book. I made him READ IT ofcourse!! (made sure I had all the puzzles done first) Lucky me.... I mean, what are the odds of this happening? Now he can holy-up some other village and leave this one in peace. Doesn't even have to die. Ain't life grand sometimes... _________________________ 'I haven't lost my mind. It's backed up on disc somewhere...'
