I cant get anyone to fish, i have master scientists but they just want to swim in the lagoon and ocean, any hints out there? Should i be using a farmer instead?

Do you have Level 3 of Farming??? You need that to fish first......

i figured i needed more levels but my villagers are taking a long time to get tech points even with level 2 science thanks

I need help getting enough tech points so I can go up more levels of more abilities. Any suggestions? I can't get past level 2 of anything. Thanks...

You'll probably get various tidbits of advice, Meme. I can only tell you what I am doing. Others may not agree. I bought level 2 of Science/Technology as that increases the tech points. Other than that, have villagers do research at the table. I know it's frustrating. They seem to accumuate so slowly. I think I read in a post somewhere here to put the game speed on 1/2 and that will help increase your points.

Right now in one of my scenarios, I am close to getting enough points for level 3 farming, so my villagers can fish. The problem is that I cannot get any of my farmers to the point of Master Farmer. It takes a Master Farmer to fish for the first time and succeed. After that, any of your villagers, 14 and over, can fish as long as you train them to.

The only time I took my main farmer off of farming was when enough food was stored up. Otherwise, that's all he did. He's now a Master Farmer, with a son (looks exactly like him) also working as a farmer.

So, I would suggest concentrating on one farmer and make sure all he does is farm.

Now, my problem is getting a Master Builder. Do I just keep one builder fixing huts until more are needed to be built?

Don't leave your builder just fixing huts.. use him for research until there IS something to be built.. the other structures left will give you a master builder

Don't leave the farmer to water crops, it is not necessary. Move him to the table until the crops come in or until your food gets down to 100 and he has to pick berries.

That's actually what I did. I put him on research, then when the population hit 25, he started on a new hut. Now he's a Master Builder. Just hope he doesn't die before I no longer need a master builder. I'm not sure if the other builder will make to master status.

Debala, if you breed from him his child will start off with a bit of building skill and progress pretty rapidly. My original Master Builder died halfway through and there was still plenty of construction left to raise two of his children to Master status. If you already have someone will a little bit of building skill, get them to assist your main master now.
