All that finally frustrates me is the "thinks the hut could be converted" message. How do you get them to concentrate and convert? Have dropped master builders on it/round it/next to it ad nauseum but still nothing........

I converted the hut INTO the school long ago, but the villagers still think it could be converted when they walk round it. is there further work to do here??

No. That was a bug. LDW has released an update that fixes that and a few other ones. You need to download the update from the same site you originaly bought VV from. It is free!

I got my game from Pogo.com and went and checked - they do not have any updates. Is there anywhere else we can get them from? Thanks!

Most sites don't specifically list updates. They just replace the old version of the game with the new version.

The latest version of Virtual Villagers is v1.01. To check your version, go to the game's menu screen and look in the lower left corner. The version number is displayed there.

You must download the update from the same site where you originally purchased the game, since the registration codes from each site are not interchangeable. Download the trial version and install it in the same location where you have v1.00 installed. That will update your game to v1.01 without affecting your savegames.

If you already have v1.01, there are no other updates. We've seen indications that some versions of v1.01 are missing the last-minute fix that was made to the school conversion message.

BTW, I get VV via Shockwave. If I ever ditched Shockwave and bought VV, would installing it overwrite the Shockwave version?

But, do the kids actually go to the school at a certain time because mine aren't.

I bought mine from Big Fish and there is no conversion what do I do?
