It would be nice if they got bald, gray, or white hair after they became elderly.

I would also like to be able to go backward in their wardrobe.
I like to dress my elders in the same clothing so I can tell who died, since my grave yard is full. They all wind up with green dresses, and white shirts. The only problem with that is I then have a set of triplets with white shirts, so now they look like the elder men.

Don't you think modern clothes are a little out of place? And where did they get those shoes and socks? Wouldn't it be better to wear different colored serongs, moo-moos and shorts or cropped pants?

I'd like the ability to sort the villager database by sex or by skills. That way I wouldn't have to hunt through 90 people to find out who my Master Builder is. I have one village where my Master Builder died early in the game after all the major construction had been done and now I'm stuck repairing huts till I build up to Master Builder. And you know how hard it is to keep these guys on task when they'd rather be swimming! Also, it's not like you can pick him out of the crowd and tell him to get back to work!

I don't want to change their clothes--too real life and boring! But it would be nice if the children could gain some random life experience while they are running to and fro and peeing in my flowers!

If you had multiple games going... why not find a 'pathway' to them when the boulder is moved (if the other game had moved the boulder as well)? That could be cool. But then you run into space issues with a game built for 90 villagers suddenly combining and comingling with another 90 villagers. Could get crazy. Not to mention huge.

I'm not in love with the chicken idea. Cool to feed and care for the chickens and gather eggs, but are you going to have chicken dinners? Might get a little graphic for some young gamers.

Not that the brothel hut isn't but... I would also like to point out that the Petshop Sims (EA Games) expansion pack was arguably the most boring one ever, so my personal vote is no animals.

I think any VV expansion should still work within the current system requirement parameters (give or take a little). I can currently run this game in the background and still do lots of other stuff on my computer without performance being affected at all. A bigger, more elaborate game will have bigger and more elaborate system reqs. And this might put a real hamper on my being able to play VV and still work at the same time. Shhhh! Did I say that out loud??

I agree that it would be a nice challenge to try and keep some separation in family units.... i know i've done some breeding w/ dad's & daughter's, bro's & sis's, etc....

I think somehow the cave should lead to another part of the island where another whole group of islanders is living.... perhaps even an interactive version where my villagers could meet some real villagers from this forum

I like the trading idea. I also would like to see the kids do a bit more than just pick mushrooms. and for god's sake, they are on an island.... they really should know how to swim, at least in the lagoon.

I think that the children should take care of the chickens and the better the care the more chickens or the more eggs if people dont want to see the chickens die. The childre can gather eggs and feed chickens so the children would have something to do other than runaround and pick mushrooms. Also a new puzzle could be to unlock the chickens.

I also think that the tech points should be used as money for trading with other villages rather than having money, or what would be the point of research at the end of the game other than to have the most tech points.

Is it possible that the GC could be a girl sometimes as well? I think it would be interesting to very it up a little.

I agree also with the family tree. It might be nice to sort the tribe into clans that extend from the original villagers.

Also a larger play area for everything to happen in. Maybe the above mentioned clans could be in different areas of the island.

I'd love more sound cues. Like sockpuppet, I "sometimes" (smile) have the village running in the background while I'm working or doing something else on the PC, and would really appreciate more meaningful sounds to let me know what's happening. Like maybe a certain sound for, a villager being born, someone going from Adept to Master, turning 14, passing away, or a special event like hut being finished, food going below a certain level (%), a mushroom to be picked, even the GC making a party.
