How about when you started playing VV2 the villager only live in small part of the island so if you finsh one of the puzzle they'll be happier and will enter new places.The new place will have chicken or other new place will have more food e.g.

How about if you finshed one of the puzzle you unlocked a mini game e.g. if you finshed cleaning the beach puzzle you get fishing mini game e.g.

when someone dies... and you click on their tombstone, can you have their picture come up with their name... that would be a good way of remembering your little villagers that have passed away.

one thing i want is for there to be other parts to the island-but you have to find them as some of the puzzles. also, if the new tribe could meet up with the old tribe, which has been spying on them and didnt say anything. yeah, i know. i know.

You may want to tie the treasure in with 2 since the treasure would otherwise be rather useless on a stranded isle.

Telling a Story
Instead of having a villager wander aimlessly with the message "telling a story", have him/her actually tell a story. The storyteller would go out to the boulder or by the well, sit and begin to tell a story. The children would run from all over for storytime. No one gets any points for anything but it would be cute.

Golden Child mods
It would be cool if the GC could randomly circulate among the nursing moms and sometimes you'd get the bubbly cloud and a rainbow over the baby with a message "The Golden Child has blessed a baby!". Then this baby has greater than usual skills in one or more disciplines. All random. Some babies get blessed, some don't, and you never know what kind of talents will come until the child is weaned.

I had some other Golden Child ideas, such as an aging Golden Child passing the torch to a random replacement, but I think this would require too elaborate a mod, particularly with birth rates being so low when max populations are reached. So I guess we're just stuck with the bubbly, dancing little party meister.

The biggest problem I have found in the game play is that once you have Fishing (Farming Level 3) the game is effectively over.
At that point the only critical resource in the game (food) becomes, essentially, unlimited. At this point the game only requires human intervention to solve the few remaining puzzles.
Those puzzles, for the most part, serve no purpose. The early ones, building a hut, clearing the blockage, etc, all lead to something else. The boulder, the fruit of life, and the treasure are dead ends.
I enjoyed playing the game immensely, but once I reached that point it was a tremendous let down.

I agree with this. The villagers have little use for gold and jewels. Perhaps, a map of the rest of the island? VV2, VV3, etc.
