I have built the school and half a load of children to teach and i bang the drum and all the kids come running and in there status bar it says Going to school. Do i have to have a teacher or is that it do they ever go into school??

Are you talking about VV for Windows or VV Sims? I play VV and don't have this drum to beat that I hear others talk about. My kids just stand in front of the school. It would be nice to have someone there teaching them, though.

Its VV for windows. I bang the drum they come runnin and stand there and like 5 seconds later they run off. Wasnt sure if there evening learn anything. Might have to report them to the local education authourity!!

i wonder that too but from time to time i get an adult who says in their status bar "teching" but whenever i put an audlt on the school they dont do anything. then again, my kids have never had an increse in their bars from going to school....

i would like to know how the school can be converted like it says it can...can anyone help me with this?

when i converted the school it just said now your villagers will be born with more skill...so i dont think we can raise their bars..but they do have some skill when born i guess. Or maybe it helps them learn their skills faster.

When you have a Master Scientist just drag him over the building and he creates a school. The drum is also on the Mac version and it's handy when you want to get all the little kids out of the way to see who's doing what or to control the GC when all he wants to do is throw a party.

It seems that the male(skill) the female breeds with gives the baby his/her skill.
