I've had a few events happen to me and read about others.
But is there a list of possible events?
I've had the one where the child turns into a prodigy;
the one with the compass;
the one with the vial that turns people to children;
and one about some berries that I dismissed, don't know what would happen.
What other events are there?
I've read about a barrel of babies and a stranger ina a boat.

well u got the barrel rats(not fun)or the dream(not everything is as it looks!)and the berries(hmmm berries.......).

1.) the north wind revitalizes the berry bush,
2.) a monkey wrecks the research table and you lose 9000 tech points,
3.) the moth in caccoon makes person *instant* master doctor (apprentice doctor for child) ill let you figure out which scenario to choose for that effect,
4.) the whale either gives 1200(?) food or maxes out spirituality
5.) a monkey brings food (i think)
and many, many others

there are a few more threads with posts like this...you can do a search and find where a bunch of other people talk about the events they've had...

I know babies can come in a barrel or a crate and I thought I heard something about a chest. Is it correct that there is one baby in the chest, two or three in the barrel and four in the crate? Or do they vary? And if you get several toddlers in an event, will they all be the same age, or can you get two two-year-olds and two four-year olds? And what's the oldest child you get in these events?

Usually the toddlers in the crates/barrels are 2-3 yrs old, they are not always the same gender either.
The Vials are always different - some results are good some are bad - some make the drinker smarter/dumber/sick, some make their apperance change, some do some other very interesting things. You're basically taking a chance with the vials.
The monkeys, well there are several monkey events, usually the outcome is fair to good with them, but not always.

Knew I forgot something lol - the number of toddlers in the crate/barrel varies from 1-3.
