Very, very sorry yet again if these questions were answered elsewhere. Since they are no doubt obviously answered, they probably only will be asked by me.

(Edited out a question that I found the answer to)

Also, is there any way I can make the forums show me only those messages which have new posts in them?

Thanks!

P.S. I'll sneak in a third question. I've been having most of my guys work on research for the tech points. I have over 3500 for food. I've finished 5 or 6 puzzles and am now waiting for more tech points before venturing on. However, I only have 10 people, and of those 2 are children. Should I be populating more at this point since most of my adults are 50+?

I don't have level 2, but I do have a master healer due to an island event. (I lucked out on this village).

I have level 3 farming, level 2 construction, level 2 science. All the rest are level 1.

Still, I'll start up some new babies. A few builders could use a rest.

Wow, I got that advice not a moment too soon. My best researcher died at just 53. Without warning. I just got two new moms, that will be five kids. A few left researching, and one always on food. I have over 3000 food, so I hope that's enough for all those hungry mouths.

My first death. It's sadddddd.

Thanks for the advice.

Okay, I understand now that the elderly move slower, even my one villager who was born with running.

However, as I try to move about, everything is very jerky and/or freezes for 10-20 seconds. This wasn't happening before today. DSL is running fine and not holding up other traffic.

Does it make a difference that I downloaded VV from Shockwave (where I am a paid user)? I'm not playing online at all, or at least I thought I wasn't. If this is what is causing some of the problems, I'll purchase the game outright, but I thought that using it via Shockwave as a paid user was legal. If I'm not legal, I want to be immediately, and need to know how to purchase the game.

Any ideas of what is going on?

I find when I have another window running I seem to have jerky movements in my game (especially if I am reading forums or doing my email at the same time)
Not sure why that happens myself either - but usally if I close the other window - everything clears up.

I have DSL as well - doesnt seem like that would be a factor in the game play tho since we dont have to be online to play it.

Thanks, Kami (you slipped in there while I was posting).

I've closed just about everything I can except this forum. I'll try that.
