We already knew that the log would tell us what our villagers had died from. I have just discovered that the log file also tells us what they were born from as well! I wish I had known that before I gave up on tracking who begat whom in this game ~sigh~. Funny thing is, Iniko isn't even a Breeder, he's a Master Builder!

I added the ages of the villagers myself - you can see Iniko "embraces" young and old equally...lol.

I was just wondering what I need to look in to get to my log file...I must be doing something wrong because when I look up virtual villagers on my computer I find a file but it's just to play the game.

In your Virtual Village folders there should be a text file called ldwLog. A new log file is created every time you start the game so you can find out why the skeletons died but not the tombstones, if you get what I mean. It tracks all the significant activity. For example, I'm looking in my log and it shows "Kasa collected some berries. Berries remaining 307. Current food available to eat: 992067". I just thought it was a hoot that in the same one-hundredth of a second one villager embraced something like two dozen women!

Apparently everybody named Iniko is a frisky little guy. Here's the log from a different game - I almost hurt myself laughing when I looked up the ages of the villagers this Master Farmer had taken indoors. He went through the whole village from youngest to oldest - TWICE! As near as I can tell the only women he missed were nursing at the time, as I have a couple of new two year olds. 58 embraces at once - but his skill at breeding hasn't gone up at all! Poor guy...roflmao.
