Not only have I seen him telling story's to himself but just now I saw he was also chatting to himself and to the cactus. LOL

Or maybe he is having a personal conversation with Ponui Sr.

It sounds like he needs some companionship (and quickly). We're still hoping for a happy outcome for the Hard Tribe!

Yeah, I thought that too! I was relieved (and a bit amused) at what Ponui, Jr. was actually doing.

I would love to be able to miraculously intervene, but, alas, I lack the power.

Phew. I thought it would be bad news for Ponui when I saw this thread. I am so relieved. Not that conversing with a cactus is good news.... but there is still hope for him.

I was sooooo happy as well that "poor" didn't mean "dead"! I made one of my villagers a Jr. today and thought (again) of the Ponui men...good luck to him and his Goddess, may the tide bring in a future wife in a barrel...

he doesnt have a woman - he is the sole survivor of his clan at this point
we are all hoping and praying that some woman will be washed up on shore in the meantime

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh well now i know why he's talking to the cactus... the isolation has driven him insane

Please keep us posted and let us know what happens to Ponui Jr! Maybe you can have him honor the temple and the idol in hopes for that baby barrel? LOL I know that has nothing to do with the random events but it may at least give the poor guy something to do. If there was a way to do this I would gladly send you a girl from one of my villages.
