try to feed the 2 you want to breed,dropping the female only(if possable) but be careful the woman will want it all the time & you will have to watch her after the baby is 2 & on it's own,she may want more.
if food is a problem go for fishing A.S.A.P. fish give you 9 food points & crabs give you 55 food points(only the master farmers can get crabs).berries only give you 2 & the mushrooms give you 8, crops give you 7.i triple checked these facts.
