No matter how hard I try I can't get my villagers to breed!!! Every time I drag one to another they always run and say something about food. I can't collect food any faster and my villagers are getting old, what do I do ...HELP!?!?

HI SpazMcG when I had that trouble I marked females and a male as breeders and just kept dropping them on top of each other continually they eventually forgot everything else and did as nature intended

been there done that ....be persistent they will eventually breed....

FYI.... kids eat as much as adults..... and they dont work .... nursing moms dont work...... so be selective ....

if you dont have fishing yet ... I find that having more than 6 or 7 villagers makes it really difficult to keep up with food.... but then I like having at least 1 under 14 to gather mushrooms in a drought.......

How many people do you have and how many huts do you have?

Be careful dropping men on the women and marking men as breeders.... you may NEVER get them to work again ..... if at all possible only mark women as breeders ever and drop women on men only......

I have 1 new hut and 9 people, but they are dying quickly

spaz, if you're starting with an Easy Game, don't worry about about breeding too quickly. Set at least two people to farming, 3 to research, and bring one up to adept in medicine and then switch him/her to research... so you can get enough points to buy Farming Level 2. If food is very low, you may need to put more on farming until you get the bin up to about 400-500, and don't let it drop below that if possible

And get the kids to pick some mushrooms to help you out

tame, next time you start a new game, check how much points you get for the berries.. and check how many points you get for the red mushrooms
