Hello Everyone.

I have finally registered for the forums. I wanted to say thank you to everyone who has been posting on here. I have been reading the forums every time I needed help with my Virtual Villagers game which I started playing 32 days ago. This site has been very useful.

I have especially enjoyed ibteri's stories about Punani (sorry about the spelling).

I thought I should register and start answering other people's questions in return... I have finished all the puzzles and am now just maintaining my little tribe; they have survuved for 32 days now! And I , like everyone else wish there was more to do and can't wait for VV2.

I do have one more question: I have updated my game to V1.01 but I haven't noticed any differences. What does the update do?

Thanks again for all your help over the last month!

The two main things: lets the children "see" the mushrooms when they are there and once the hut is converted to a school, you no longer keep getting the message that it "could be converted."

Thanks Bajantara.

I have another question. I read somewhere that you can change the color of the brown mushroom so it is easier to see. So I opened up the carrying file in paint and recolored the mushroom to a lovely blue. I spent a lot of time on the shading and was quite pleased with the effect. But when opened my game to see how it looked all of the carrying items now have white boxes around them. What did I do wrong? How can I fix it?

If you saved the file as a bitmap (.bmp) instead of a .png file you will get that box. If you can't repair it PM me and I will send you the file. (My shrooms are pink and blue with white spots!)

I figured it out. I did have the .png file but when I edited it in paint it filled in the background as white. But there should not be a background. So I tried it again and edited it JASC paint shop pro 8 and made sure not to fill in a background. And it worked. I have blue mushrooms now. I will try to attach a picture....

Thanks for the help!
