Im pretty new to the game (been playing for almost 2 weeks). I have 5 games going right now with 4 completed (puzzle and tech). I can't seem to get my elderly to live past their mid 70's. I have tried getting them to eat the special fruit but it doesn't seem to make any difference. Does the fruit have any other purpose than completing the puzzle? Does it really make them live longer? If it does, why don't they eat it on their own? I'm testing out if an "untrained" will live the longest so I have a new one without any skills but he is still in his 20's so I have a way to go before he is elderly.

I have no clue my oldest was like 85 but mostly they die around 78. So I am still trying to figure that one out. I played a game where I has one elderly person die and she was untrained at everything!!!! I mean not one spec of blue in any skill. I was shocked.
I have all puzzles completed and all tech researched and my oldest villager died at the age of 100 (I couldn't believe my eyes!!!) but now they all die at around 72... I have no clue why because I have many adapt doctors, the golden child and everything. Perhaps it's because of the inbreeding going on
I have had only a couple last until they were around 80, with 83 being my oldest. I have had medicine 3 for w hile. Now in a couple games. I have over 50 graves and can't track their ages anymore. I started a hard but that is still a new village with only 8 and the eldest is 51, so I have a while on that one.
Anyone figured out whether the fruit will actually help them live longer?
