88 total villagers, 53 of them children, and 2 more on the way. 27 of those children were born at the same time. my villagers have been quite busy!

How many are twins and triplets?

i have no idea. not too many. they're mostly single births.

I've also had various "baby boom" peaks. A lot of Elderly Villagers die off and all the Mamas want to have kids right away. Once all of the adult women were caring but I still had room for more. I needed to wait until some of the teenagers grew up or one mother finishing with one kid and starting again on another.

I've had things like that too...Like when I decided that it would be easier to make one male breeder than a few female ones and then left for the day...I came back and almost every woman in the village was pregnant... and I had around 50 villagers to start...I think I would have had somewhere around 53 kids if there wasn't a population cap...

One game I stopped at pop. of 80 in anticipation of the GC. I swear, I only left the game for some 20 minutes. I had no one checked as 'breeding' and no one was elderly yet.

I came back and my pop. was maxed out at 90! Someone was very naughty. Sadly, I had to wait for a villager to die to get my GC.

I posted somewhere else that I left the game for a brief period and came back to find one of my 65 year old females pregnant with twins! A few other women had fallen victim to this rogue also. LOL! I was so despondent as I didn't think she'd make it. She did though, but as soon as she released the twins, she was a skeleton.

I breed an elderly woman, and she died before the 2 yr mark, what happens to the baby then? It just disappears?

Yep, if a nursing mother dies before she releases the baby, the baby just disappears. Many have suggested that the baby go to another mother until it is two, but not sure if LDW will ever implement that.

Motherless babies should go to the new building, the orphanage until they are 2

how do you make the max pop as higher than 90 i carnt get no more people past 90 please help

Do you think that true? if many children are born at same time then that that group of children will also die of old age at roughly same time 60 year later? do you think that true?

90 is max. population
You can get 91 or 92 when you have twins or triplets at a 89 pop, but that's about it.
Only when you have a pop. of 92 and then you get an event with triplets you can get 95 but I have not heard about that. It's only in theory

It's actually possible to get quite a few more than 90. I've had a population of 97 villagers without cheating, due to the right combination of multiple births and Island Events.

I'm in the same boat with 54 children. Last night I had 45 villagers and that was manageable. I have only level 2 fertility, and I have NO one selected as breeders. I had level three in everything else, but was selectively breeding my favorites.

Overnight, the game threw me 54 children. 54!! Mostly from females who had NO breeding level prior, and they still don't! I thought I had some decision making with the game...lol....

My guess is that the Daddy is someone you've used to breed before. Since he already had some "skill" during one of the random (I'm not going to do want I'm selected for..." moments he got amorous and started going after the ladies. And then, that only gave him more "skill." A real Casanova!

Currently, every female of age in my village is carrying a baby, of course, I'm just starting out so that's only 5, but still....

I only did one of them, I don't know who the father(s) of the rest of them is/are. I wasn't watching them.

Thats a great idea, I've lost a couple of kids like that. Perhaps in vv3 we could have an orphanage. Only thing though is that they don't have children after the age of 50yrs.

I stepped away to eat lunch, upon my return I had 12 childern... all runners just like their dad.(8 boys/4 girls)

i had 99 people once, and like, 90 of them were kids. It was pretty funny, but then they all died at the same time so i had no people left.
