My died at age of 26

My youngest died at 4 -- crate of spiders. Hey, it was my first event. I thought it would be something cool. ;-)

I had a 7 year old die of starvation - along with a few other youngsters. I was really mad that the G.C. wasn't doing his job cause food was at 0 - then I realized that I had left everybody as builders to finish the temple, the idol, and finding the treasure, so nobody was collecting the food the GC had created. OOOOOPS!

Thank you for mentioning the log. I left a finished game on a few nights ago and woke up to 4 or 5 very young children dead and I had no idea what was up. Now I can look into it.

My youngest was six...starvation...weird, because I had half of my available workers (seven I think) on Farming duty and one of my villagers was an adept doctor and I didn't have anybody drink any vials or eat poisonous berries or open rotten crates?!?!

If you only had level 2 of farming, your entire village could be gathering food and it wouldn't make the farm produce more food. The farm has a limited supply of food with each cycle, and then there will be no more until the crops grow again. If you have more villagers than the farm can support, they will run out of food and start suffering from starvation. Only fishing provides unlimited food.
