Has any one played Creatures? Don't you wish there was a way to teach the villagers the way you could teach your Norns? A tickle to teach them that's what you want them to do and spank when they are naughty (wander off the task you have given them)
As I progress they all seem to become obsessed with laundry and pushing the boulder... grrrrr. Spanking them would be so much more satisfying than continually dragging them back to the harvest or research table

What happens if they stop doing so much laundry, anyway? (Seems like they are going to wear out their clothes by washing them every few minutes).

Maybe there should be some indication when they are dirty/smelly and NEED to do their laundry.

Darn it! How'd you big humans like to be dragged back to your desk every time you got up to go to the water cooler, or get a cup of coffee, or just to look outside!!!

I used to get frustrated with them and drop them in the sea but now they just go fishing....we could do with a set of stocks and some rotten tomatoes!

Why do they actually do laundry? They always wear the same clothes.

I have my own image uploader account (photobucket or imageshack is good), so I uploaded them all there. (don't forget to use the UBBCode to display the pictures)

OR when you go to post, click "preview", and use the option to attach a file

I think the AI needs tweaking. Everytime a villager completes an action you get the pause while it runs through the list of possibles before it selects one. The " call " for laundry, boulders, ruins, etc. is to high and needs to be toned down some. I know some of it is effected by the personality of the the villager but I'm not sure how much this really comes into play. I don't mind the normal diversions like dancing, chatting, even arguing that disrupts work but the other stuff just pops up to often. I noticed that after I got fishing I had crops rotting in fields while they all started to fish, even the ones that hated swimming and the ocean. That's why I'm not sure personality really effects it that much. The AI just needs a bit of tweaking that's all.
