Reual that's how I do my "population control" also. :-)

LOL. I turned around for a moment and when I came back I had 13 nursing mothers! And two with twins! I'm at my maximum population now, though, so it might be a while before there are any new additions.

I'm with the VI: So far, in both my islands, I just have only one or two women trained for breeding, no men, and that is keeping both the population growth and the "embracing" under control! Though I do have to remember to train new mothers when the others get really old.
