Unfortunately, I have not heard of anyone getting any special events with only the GC in the Village. In fact, I havent heard of anyone getting any events without at least one villager being the age of 14.
Once you get the GC, if by chance he is to die in an event. You wont get another in that village, many have tried and it just doesnt happen.
