I have had it a couple of times now where it says they go indoors and only the girl goes in and comes out with a baby! I did see once where a few seconds after she heads to the city center to rest the guy heads indoor all by himself.
Maybe I just have a wierd bunch of villagers!

No, you don't just have a wierd bunch of villagers, my men never seem to go indoors with the ladies, Lol. I think the women have something wrong with them, because they can make babies all on their own. And I don't think the men are looking forward to having a child, so they just don't bother going in.

LOL. They don't need to go into the hut, because Arthur and crew have genteelly used the word "embracing" to mean more than kissing - if you get my drift.

I've discovered, after 270 hours of "real" play in my main game, that breeding seems to get easier with practice. I've managed to mate villagers who were "too hungry to think about this" or "not feeling well enough for this". Apparently even on the island a good "embrace" is good for whatever ails you...lmao.

my ladies are pretty independent too, i dropped my master doc (female) on another female that was sick in order to heal her but instead got the message "these villagers are the same gender" but also got her pregnant. and i know it wasn't the timing issue because she was researching and i took her off the table to get healed. lol, i guess on my island same sex adoptions are legal...
