It's called a Clift hanger. We all hope to find out (or at least get a few more clues) when VVII comes out.

And you know I hear these "complaints" allot on this forum, and well I can understand the feelings. But at least with VV we can continue the game, so to speak. In other games, once you completed all the goals the game is truly over, in that you can't continue to play. You have to start over from the beginning, period! So lets try and keep that in mind. Thankfully LDW create games that are truly never ending. And I thank them for that.
