So my master builder died and all my adept builders dont really know what to do with the ruins or the rocks. How do I make another master builder when everything else is built. Is examining and fixing huts enough?

You don't need a master builder for the ruins or the rocks; you need the correct tech level (and that's not only building) so they know what to do

yes fixing stuff will do it but takes forever so just keep fixing
