She is only 27, have over 2,000 food, taken her to eat loads of times but is getting weaker, is there anything else I can do

try checking her as a doctor, or a buidler (if there's no building to be done).. in other words something she doesn't have to work at... and take her to drink as well as to eat

She must be very accident-prone. As bajantar has said may use her for collecting food and any job that is not very hazardous. Research is the most hazardous job, then building then farming. You will need to keep an eye on her, as the villagers like to perform the job they have the most skill at. So if she has more skill at research then farming then she will go to the table in-between harvesting.
