Or is the golden child REALLY annoying? I mean after he's done everything (move bolder, do that flower, make the butterflies) he gets super annoying calling all those parties, never ageing. *wonders if she could drown the GC in the lagoon he came out of*

lol. those parties get on my nerves too. but at least he can make food appear out of nowhere.

LOL. I tried getting rid the GC: He along with a few of the other children got sick after an island event and I kept the other villagers away so that they wouldn't cure him. After a couple of days, all of my villagers had died, except for the GC, who's "not feeling well" but hasn't totally succumbed to his illness (:

I would love the golden child to die - i only have the treasure left to finish digging - and he keeps making party's and stopping them from working - it's very annoying, i just want to finish this off then I can get back to having a life of my own!!

to rachael: here is a good tip : use the drum on the school to distract the children (gc included ) it really works:D, found this out on accident.

i'm kind of disappointed... i get the gc and do the 2 puzzles you can make him solve and right away he zips off to finish the final puzzle... i wanna see some parties and all that other annoying stuff lol

He will throw lots of parties. You don't have to worry about that.

how exactly do you get the GC everyone is so hateful of? i dragged a nursing mama to the lagoon a couple times... is that it?

You have to have the right tech levels as well

Not only the tech levels but a couple of other puzzles done too before you can get the GC ..... oh and btw he can die ..... Hubbys GC died last night .... apparently his GC got hold of those poisonous snails that look like berries .... hubby thinking ... oh he is immortal lets see what happens when he eats them .... next thing he knew the villagers were burying the GC ..... hubby cheered.....

Heh.. sounds like we found the GC's Achilles heel

sure does bajantara,,,,, unfortunately I wanted to see if was possible to get a 2nd GC after he died .... but instead of starting a new game under a dif player, hubby started over this morning before he left for work ..... sigh oh well.... maybe someone else will kill off a GC and we can find out if he can be "reborn"

I think you can only have one GC at a time... Im AM curious as to if you can have a 2nd after the 1st dies though.... if there were more than one GC in the villiage at a time I dont think the parties would EVER end....
