Hi from poseidon1947 (A newbie)

I have searched the Forum but cannot find any reference to my problem. Can anyone please help?

I purchased Fish Tycoon from Oberon Media on 30 Mar 06.

All worked well until a fortnight ago. Then when I tried to start the game I got the error message:

"Your temporary key has expired. If you believe this message is in error, please contact the program's author."

This should not be a temporary key as I paid £14.99 to purchase the game.

When I completely uninstalled the game and reinstalled it the Activation Key was once again accepted and I was able to play the game. But the same thing happened a couple of days later. Again I had to start the game from scratch.

Very frustrating to say the least because I had discovered 5 out of 7 'Magic Fish' and had accumulated nearly 250.000 in cash.

After sending 3 emails to Oberon over the last 2 weeks and receiving no replies I am hoping someone on this Forum can shed some light on the problem, and/or supply an email address for Oberon Media where I can get a response.

The error message said 'Contact the games author'. Who exactly are they?

LDW is the game's author, but the protection software and registration key you received are under the control of Oberon Media. Our registration codes will not work with their version of the game. You could complete and submit our support form - perhaps you can get a resolution that way?

I have already submitted a Support Form to LDW and am awaiting a rep[y.

I appreciate that Oberon Media are the ones I purchased the game from. The problem is, Oberon Media just will not reply to my Emails.

Hi there, I have now had this same problem with Virtual Villagers... grrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did you have any luck in resolving this rather cheeky problem?

We don't know why that is happening to people who purchase from certain game sites, but if you'll fill out our support form (see the link above) with the details of your purchase you will receive help with the problem.
