Hi everyone! I have been playing this game for several days now and it seems that my real time doesn't seem to be working when I shut down at night. I have the 2X speed selected. 12 hours later, I saw no change in my game. no age difference, no change in health, tech points, food or anything. When I played fish tycoon I became familar with the "real time"... this ain't it...lol. I expected SOME kind of change. Has anyone else had this problem? Or does anyone's elses work right, comparibly to fish tycoon? I would appreciate any help.

Have you adjusted your system clock at all since starting to play Virtual Villagers?

Well, that's a toughie. Unfortunately, the real-time engine in Virtual Villagers is very complex (much more complex than Fish Tycoon) and relies on the accuracy of the system clock. Game play becomes very unpredictable when the system clock is adjusted. You could wait it out and see if the game recovers, and start another game in a different slot while you're waiting. Or you could just delete the malfunctioning game and start over.

thanks so much! I didn't realize.. just made the assumption because of how it worked so well with fish tycoon. I think waiting it out should work well enough. I expect maybe a 24 hour period. I didn't mess with it that much and didn't take it too far a head before I returned it back to normal. I appreciate you taking the time to help me! Hope I can help you sometime!

how do u mess with ur clock to make the game go faster? been playing for 2 weeks real time and only have 40,000 tech points and i have nothing fully researched and i play this game more then i sleep....school starting plz help!
