Bubblesalt. Which screen are you on? I tried for ages on the details screen then realised you need to be on the normal screen where you can see the island. Click on a villager and then press f6.

Also, remember, if they are wearing the green dress with the blak necklace, then they are stuck with that outfit, as that is the last one.

ah, thanks for this post. it is great! i had no clue that you could change the outfits! now I have tons of goth villagers, hehe. it's great. they look like some sort of mafia or something. now, if only we could cycle all the way through the clothes, instead of being stuck on the last one...

Anamri, thank you for that. I kept wondering why I couldn't change that awful ugly green dress. And then of course she birthed a daughter with the same dress, but with a headband !

Ohhhh my gosh you guys do not know how pathetically excited that has gotten me.....ohhhh man I'm sitting here at my pc going noooo way & everyone thinks I'm nuts! hehe

Yeah i couldn't believe this was possible, but unfortunately got a bit too excited and pressed F6 a little too much and now i have like 3 people with the last outfit oi.

Okay, so now we've got the list in a couple of different formats and access to the graphics - now it's time for someone to make an animation of a couple walking along the beach while The Hand (tm) zips by to change their outfits every five steps. At the end they go "Aaaw!" pick up a pair of laundry baskets and head for the lagoon (as they've obviously run out of clean clothes).

Thanks bunches. I had a mother-daughter who looked alike and in the same clothes. It really helped to give the daughter a jassy purple outfit so I could tell them apart.
