Hello all. I am a newbie to this game and a junkie at that. I have a ? about puzzle 12. It says to drag any builder but even when I drag my best builder, who is not a master yet, I can't get them to chisel the rock. Am I doing something too early or what? Oh. I also have the other puzzles complete to do this puzzle.

Do you have the necessary Village Tech? Many puzzles have more than one requirement.

So I don't spoil anything, I have completed farming, construction, and spirtuality.

Also, how do I get the smilies?

If you've completed the prereq puzzle (which you implied that you have), you should be able work on puzzle 12. What indication do you get that you can't do it?

The smilies are available when you use the Reply link, rather than Quick Reply. They appear in a list of Instant Graemlins below the text input area. You can also perform some formatting on your post when you use that method.

My top adept builder will say anything other then trying to push the boulder. Do I need more than one builder...that is a big rock..

Can I be doing another puzzle while trying to move the boulder, maybe?

When they walk up on there own they tell me something to the effect that they cannot do it...I forget how it's worded exactly. Forget my oldtimers disease.

Are you talking about the boulder or the rock? Your first post said rock and now you're talking about the boulder. They're different puzzles with completely different requirements and solutions.

I am talking about the boulder...puzzle 12. The one with the winking eye?

The boulder is what's blocking the cave, and that's puzzle 16. The rock (or stone) is puzzle 12, and is located in the western part of the village. What message do you get when you drag your villager over the vertical, freestanding rock?
