maybe now there to many. But later you will wish they where still there. I switch my farmer to research when the food gets to high.

Is it totally crazy then that I have over 71,000+ in my food storage? I have a population of 83, a totally crowded research table, tons of farmers and builders. No GC yet. I'm waiting for them to accrue enough tech point so I can get stage 3 fertility.

I have 2 games running, one is finished with 172485 of food and 91 villagers (yes the mommy popped out a twin at the end ) and 518835 tech points with all tech filled. It's a bit crowded on that screen
The other is still developing, almost there, with 80745 food and 64755 tech points, all tech is full I just need the master builder to chisel the rock but all I have is adept builders, keep patient I guess he will be chiseling when he's done fixing all huts.

I've got 2 games running . One is finished with 68 villagers 209514 food and 180000+ tech points. I've just started my new game. I've got 7 villagers and a crate just showed up with 1000 bananas in it. BONUS!! This is good because my first crop hasn't come in yet and the little buggers were hungry.

i have 607,956 food... my can live foreverrrrrrrrrrrrr lol

the food reached so high for me, 795,247 for food with only 92 villagers!!! (the mom popped out triplets!)

I have got 12,221,275 food and 10,034,096 tech points with all tech availabilites done. 91 Villagers, all the puzzles but the stupid school........cant get a master scientist, reach adept and die!!!!! Did all the stuff in 3-4 days but been waiting on a scientist for two weeks. Even killed off my population down to 10 and started over. ARGHHHHHHHHH!!!

HUH??? I am so new to Virtual Villagers that I have no idea what you're talking about! I am in desperate need of food because of a hot wind that blew in and destroyed all my reserve and withered the berries ont he bush. I have NO food at all and, although they are planting and watering, I'm afraid they will die of starvatin before the crops come in!
What's this about buying food?

You can buy/sell food. They are just having fun because their food ben is overflowing!

So just keep your villagers on the berry bush if you have some left until your crops come up.

Is it my imagination or are events really few and far between - and then it's a case of "be careful what you wish for?"

i have over 970,000 in gathered food & ???????? in crops & ???????? in berries, not count how many fish they can catch in a day . i have 90 vv(91 on my statistics) & they are all on their own. i check in every day 3-4x to see if any one has died & who is prego .other than that i play my 2nd island( still very young village)

My first village is done...the food keeps growing. I have over 700,000. Wish there was some way to send some to my other villages! lol

um, you don't need a master builder to chisel the rock - you need him/her for a different puzzle. I just threw the whole village at the rock until it was done.

and I've got you all beat - my food stockpile is 3,168,078 and the tech points I can't use total 299,343. ~sigh~

i have over 1003000 in food in my bin & 499 on berrie bush & 800 in crops last i checked & you say you have too many berries?i have all my tech points & my vv have nothing to do but gather food & fix huts & party with the gc( oh yea & kiss for all the good it does @90 vv).

when you see a mushroom if you have more than 1 child pause the game & drop all the children 1 at a time on it then un-pause the game & you get all the kids to pick the same mushroom.

How do you buy/sell food?

I think someone said already that you can't buy/sell food.
What I did was get up to my Level 3 Farming first, then they can fish and generally don't ever run out and you don't have to wait for crops to grow back.

here's one for you all- my vv have all 16 puzzels,a gc-90 people-191,757 tech points-1,035,137 in the food bin -99 berries on the bush & 6 min till next crop.gc not doing much 'cause some one died & i think he is waiting fo them to be put to rest before he partys or any thing else .all at 1:29 am in USA,UTAH on 8-17-06

Ill take some of that food. I cant seem to get enough of it. I got half my peeps researching and half on farming. Cant seem to keep them over 1000 food stuffs for very long. I have 90 villagers. Any ideas on how to get more food without the GC?

If you need food there is the mushroom trick but you need more than one kid for it. PM if you want more info so as not to spoil.
