I wanted to share something one of my adept farmers (female) did. A tidal wave came and washed debris onto my beach AGAIN and I was getting the villagers to clean it up. I have this one stubborn little f emale farmer who DOES NOT like to do anything other than water the crops. I kept picking her up and putting her on the debris, and she would shake her head and say "No." So I would pick her up and stick her back there. Well, after about 10 times of this, and by this time, this All-Knowing God was getting a bit irritated with the petulant wench (she's 15), she runs up to the village elder complaining. LMAO Sounds like my 9 yr. old son running to my husband when I make him do something he doesn't like, like picking up the livingroom. LOL

That is too funny! You never know what one of them are going to do. What are her dislikes? That could have something to do with it.

I put a guy on the berry bush and he ran away. I checked his likes/dislikes and he dislikes bushes. Eek, the scary berry bush.

I had an event that made a bunch of my villagers sick, and I had a young lady I was trying to train as a healer so I figured she could heal the last sick person, who happened to be a kid. She had no previous skills in healing so I had to put her on the medical cactus until she 'improved in healing'. While I was waiting for her to finish I had a couple of Master Doctors both rushing toward the sick kid trying to heal him(which I did not want because I needed the younger villager to get the skill instead) so I had to pick him up in order to keep the know-it-all docs from getting to him first. They kept trying to get at him anyway so I started moving him around the village a little. The hilarious thing is that the 2 master docs kept running after him even while I was holding the kid up in the air...LOL! I am now wondering what other funny things I can get my villagers to do..haha.

I have a child who dislikes running, and instead of running everywhere like a normal kid, he walks everywhere.

Btw, you don't need to put her on the cactus first. You can heal someone with no previous skill. I had one lady die because she didn't get healed fast enough because my healers were stuffing around.

I have a bunch of women caring for a baby at the same time. While I was away from the game 2 of them wandered into the temple. I can't actually put them in the temple but they can take themselves there.

I have villagers who will exercise by running a lap around the island. Others tell jokes or stories or start to fix one of the huts or go swimming.
I also have people who will go to the burial ground to honour the dead or bring flowers to the temple.
I have also had some of the farmers do a rain dance but I haven't actually seen any rain so I'm not sure it works, LOL.

LMAO heres one for ya. My builders just finished clearing the lagoon a few mins before this. Guess she was trying to give her baby a "bath" or teach her to "swim".

has anybody else noticed that the little boogers don't bury the dead until you go back into the game so the village center is littered with skeletons?
this time, when the villagers all moved towards the skeletons, instead of "burying the dead" they all started "dancing" - the bones are under their feet!
apparently some of those bones belong to a politician...lol

I had one like that right off the boat. He disliked berries. I made him a researcher and let someone else farm.

I have a kid now who dislikes sunlight. I'm afraid how he'll turn out once he's 14. His half-brother likes dark, which I thought was cute. He also likes flies, though, and that's just odd.

I have one farmer that came out of the "love hut" and started dancing. I laughed over that one. He's dancing and she starts walking toward the well looking at him over her shoulder. She didn't look so impressed.

this isn't really a funny behavior but it's funny.I picked up a 13 year old and put him in the top left corner of the map,and the he started walking across the lagoon like all kids can do.but then half way through he turned 14 then since 14's can swim,he started swimming. It really scared me at first......

I found something else amusing (and easier to spot) about the lagoon.

When I have one of my villagers collecting water from the lagoon and if he/she comes via the research table, he/she will take a "shortcut" and a little swim before reaching the waterfalls.

My worst villager disliked work and running. I couldn't get her do stay anywhere or do anything more that once. When she came to age I kept her knocked up for the rest of her life. She died at 87, a master parent of 38 children. She would frustrate me so, I would throw her in the ocean again and again.

I have wierd people in my village.
First when the heat wave hit and nobody would do anything because it was too hot they headed straight for the beach. The adults were swimming while the kids were walking on water (hmmm sounds like a spiritual thing-haha);
Second after I was away from the game for awhile I came back and found the temple was built and they were dancing on top of the temple- they didn't do that again.
And this is the kicker I had one breeder boy that loved the old ladies. Since they walk slow, the breeder made it in the love hut before the old lady did, he came out looked around and went chasing after another, by this time the old lady made it in the hut and came back out with a kid???
OK how did that happen? I can just imagine-lol

I just had my Master Farmer, who dislikes fish(poor forethought on my part) complete the puzzle I thought she might refuse to try. I had to switch her job afterward, though, because she kept "Running Away" from the ocean whenever I dropped her in!

A couple walked into the love shack, and moments later a female builder came running over and started hammering on the walls. Bad timing or jealousy?

A woman walked over to a nursing mother and started Praising. I thought WTF, is she praising the baby or what? (Later I've seen villagers Praising with noone nearby, but this was the first time I saw that action....)

I got the event where a villager got ill, and it was my GC!

I thought that it might be my chance to see a GC killed off, not know. he goes to sit in the "clinic" and eight doctors all rush over in a line to try to heal him!

I had a vv who didn't like to swim. Cruelly, on my part, I'd put him in the lagoon or the ocean and watch him swim most hastily to get out. It would say: "Running away".

I also think it's funny when a vv is telling a joke, teaching, chatting, telling a story, etc., and no one else is close by.

I had a sick vv and several doctors. The one doctor got to him and started healing him when a second, slightly older doctor, came on the scene. I think she was kind of miffed because as soon as she saw the healing she started "complaining". lol
