I don't know if this has been posted yet, but i've accidently found a way to make the mushroom count about 7-8 times. If you push pause (spacebar) and then place a lot of children on top of the mushroom they will pick it all at once and it will count for a lot.

good luck to that... I can't even make most of my kids pick up any mushrooms

did you pause the game and place them directly on top of it?

LOL i JUST got 10 kids to do it at once and now my food bin is full and it said i don't need to worry about food for a while

u just have to pause the game (space bar) and put all of them on top of the mushroom..ang then unpaused it..they look so cute! just like a spring school play!!

Thanks for this great tip, has really helped in "times of need". any way i just wanted to add that once you get the school, it helps to bang the drum ever so often when mushroom hunting. then when you find one all the kids are in one place, helps save time from hunting them down. even when the game is on pause the mushrooms show up and disappear randomly.
