I was thinking, "I wonder what the random events are..." so the I decided to post a bulliten as to where people can post any random events that occur in their game!

i found a compass and gave it to the researchers(the other villagers throught it was a berry masher) and i got 9900tec points
a box washed up on shore which i opened and a whole bunch of spiders popped out and killed one of my villagers
a monkey mixed things together on my research table mixed things together and got me 10,000 tec points
then a monkey came and destroyed my research table lost 1800 tec points
found a monkey stealing food followed him and found 400 pounds of food
saw a monkey hanging around tried to scare him and he ate one of my villagers
(whats up with me and the monkeys?)

lol!!! In both of my games I got one saying that there was a bottle with red liquid in it and it made somebody a master scientist!

in mine(i forgot) i had one who found red liquid drank it and turned into a child and another one who ate something and turned into a child(it said that it had reminded her of the oat meal she had eatten as a child)

btw has anyone else noticed that the gc can walk on water(i tried to drowned him)

I got a rotten crate twice when cleaning the beach.
first time, he became a Master Doctor and the second crate was moldy apples and I ate them to just to see what would happen.
Of course sickeness appeared. It's best to get at least two people with medical knowledge cause my doctor guy died cause no-one can heal him lol

Crates also can have rusty tools, or children in them.... so I've heard.

I had a face in the trees and even i saw one in that boulder thingy so i dont think ill be moving when i see eyes!

I got that red liquid and it made my guy's face different. that's the only thing i noticed that it did. his hair went from the black ponytail and warpaint on his face to plain face and red hair. lol

I never got any monkeys I really wanted some. Maybe next time. I found a book hidden in an old drum. I could keep the drum to make music or bust it open to see what was in it. I thought that my villagers had enough stuff to goof off with so I busted it open. It made my villager into a Master Doctor. Got a well packed crate full of diapers once. Found several rotten crates but I pushed them back. Found red liquid vial 4 times. Twice it made my villager sick and they lost skills. The other 2 times it just changed their hair color.

What's with the eyes in the cave? I saw them my villagers never seemed to notice.

I have been running 5 games for about 3 weeks. I have all the puzzles solved I am just letting them live & do what they will. Between them I have seen Tidal waves, Droughts, Cool winds to revive the land, Measels outbreaks, Monkeys that attacked my villagers, Monkeys that find mushrooms, dreams, vials of liquid, crates of spiders, rats, babies, tools & diapers, strangers, barrels of babies, books, drums can't think of any more right now.

I got a cool wind to revive the land too... but then just as i had another two babies i got a HOT SCORCHING wind (arrgh) that destroyed my crops and wiped out my food stores. I also got a book that went missing, a crate with rats inside and a isola celebration day... all in a day of play.

I've had:
an airtight crate that had three babies in it
an old drum found in the jungle that had a journal in it, made the person a master scientist.
an old crate that had old tools in it, got tech points but it made a bunch of people sick
a monkey stealing food, scared him off and person got mauled (not killed though)
a monkey stealing food, followed him and found 2000 bananas
a monkey messed the research table and lost 9000 tech points
a scroll that with the story "The secrets of Isola" whoever reads it disappears into the jungle
The North Wind -replenished the berry bush
The South Wind- destroyed the crops, berry bush and rotted the stored food

I think that's it!

a monkey came to steal my food. i chase after him, fell hurt myself. he felt sorry for my cause i was crying, so he got a herb and cure me. i learned the herb and became an adept doctor.

found book, brought to the researcher and lost it

I've had the rats in an old rotting crate twice - the first time it wiped out 6 settlers, including both my doctor and other healer - the second time I had better medical and only a couple of people got sick. I've also had a strange book that caused a islander to take off and never come back, helpful honeybees, and a good monkey who messed with the research table and made 9,000 tech points. Also my first child mauled by a monkey when I told her to chase it away, but she did survive. In another game I had the whale and was given the choice of helping to free it or slaughtering it for food, I think. I feared by helping my master farmer might get pulled out to see by it, after my bad luck with so many other things. Had a monkey who was caught stealing food and the villagers found a stash of bananas that increased my food points, and several storms that wiped out all the food. I haven't gambled on any vials or any more crates since they've all been rotten so far.

I wish I could get some baby's in a barrel or something cool. All I get is nasty stuff spiders and rats.

hi, i did get babies in a barrel but right before i clicked it my comp shut down so i lost it...ais just a good also i have had a dream twice, the right cave with the what i said to be gold gives you a fear of fish and ocean. and left is basicly nothing... 5 of the bottles, one tured my pretty sceintest blonde but her body was not the right color, then another one witch turne her to lke green... then one that ade the same girl drunk and she had a baby when i found her she was on top of the cliff by the lagoon with her 0 more minute kid. other two i forget but i now it was the same girl. good monkey monkey turns girl into healer and then i got the whale i free it and it gave m the next level up in spirit tech ( so set the whale free, and one my villagers had a dislike of fish and whale meat and all that food witghout eating it she would starv )

Ive gotten the babies in a box (twins!), spiders in a crate, a book, bees (helpful), a red vial that made someone a master healer, and I just got a stifling heat. Oh joy.

I got my beach covered in debris again from a massive wave. Strangely it also removed my completion of that milestone until i had cleared it again.

My first villager died from opening the spider crate. She was only 55.

The monkey stealing food, my child watched it then chased it as it ran away with food. She fell and hurt her knee and started crying, so the monkey came back and put healing leaves on her wound which gave her some healing skill.

I know I'm so stupid, but when ever it asks me what to do, like drink the liquid, or open the crate, I always say yes for some excitement. But, It's always good. I guess I have pretty good luck.
My most recent ones were drinking the liquid, it made her 12 again, and a crate with a baby in it

Eyes in the jungle 2 times- once it was a scared survivor who was a master villager and the second time it made my Master healer disappear (she had found the drum which I had her tear open and find a healer's journal) and that is all I have had so far.

Just had a problem child turn instant master level. I had the choice between farmer and research. I picked research only thing is she's only 6 and I have to wait until she grows up.

I just lost someone to eyes in the jungle.

Oh, don't breed anyone who reverted to childhood when they grow up again. They will never stop nursing lol.

ppl! if u get a rotting crate, push it back in the ocean but if it is a water tight, sealed crate, open it!

Not all roting crates are bad. Some will give you tech points! Some will give you food!

Not necessarily...I just started a new game and in less than twenty real time minutes got two events, first was the berry crushing compass and it gave me 30000 tech points and the second was a crate which was full of instruments and gave me 6000 tech points...

i had one that my 2 yr old that was oily blue that made him a master healer, AT THE AGE OF 2 FOR GC SAKE LOL
had a bottle of sparkly blue that buffed up 1 of my guys,now he looks more like a she lol
had a bottle of red that made my vv look diffrent looking
had 1 bottle i think it was green not sure but it made my vv celebrate lol
(i'm not sure on the colors of liquid but i think i got it right)
had 1 have a dream of 2 caves on the right was a glint of gold, on the left animal sounds.
i hate the parrots too, they eat most if not all the berries & crops.
i never heard of the monkey killing a vv.

Ok according to this game, I've been playing 208 hours and seen 4 events, one of which was a kiddo washed ashore. One was a book i wanted to take to researchers and it vanished (but the last time, the villager who read it vanished - I learned the hard way). I can't recall the other 2 events.. nothing astronomical anyway. How can I see more? Do I need to adjust my level of play? I wimped out after killing villagers the first few times I started and have it set on easy. But I've maxed farming and construction and am level 2 at all others.. Any ideas? I want more stuff to happen.. aside from my old (approaching age 70 villagers dying).

I just had one of my people find an oily blue liquid and it made them giddy and made them dance a bit for a few moments.

I find my games set to "Hard" give me more events.

I just had one that was pretty odd. One of my villagers was having a dream where they approached two caves, one was lined with gold and the other had animal sounds coming from it. I chose the gold and the villager ended up in the ocean surrounded by sharks. so now this villagers dislikes fish and the ocean

there's another thread about events - turns out that somebody was trying to get rid of a set of quints but couldn't build large crates - 2 babies washed up on Noelle's shore, 3 babies came to mine, and the crate of diapers went to carolj...roflmao

I have been playing for about four days and the only events I had was the money messing up my tech table(lost 1900 points) and typhoon wiping all my food(had over 5000 in food) needless to say I did not like either of those. LOL. Hoping for some better events to come.

I just had the Stranger in the Boat Event - he asked for berries and leaves to take with him - I let him have what he wanted and he gave my villagers some Antibiotics

My golden child found a bush with berries on it. I had him eat it & he died. So now we know that there is something that can kill the golden child.

oh yeah I know bajantara, was my Esperanza who was soooo nice to him, she is doing well, she is my healer as is.

One of my island event I most disliked is that a child found a bottle I let him drink it it didn't affect him but it KILL EVERYONE in my villager
