I keep killing all my villagers, and I can get the farmer to fish,if she/he would fish I don't think they would keep dying.I've played this game five time and killing them all at the same time in the game, around the time you are suppose to get the farmer to fish,

Did you all remember to check off the boxes that the villagers are supposed to do? If not they might randomly start doing something else like building or reaserching, leaving no farmers around! But when ever i come back on, all my villagers have like 20,000 food!

You need to research Farm tech to learn how to fish -- if you don't have the appropriate tech level, your farmers will never fish no matter how many times you put them in the ocean.

You also need to make sure they have a nice clean area to fish from, too.

There are a bunch of other threads about fishing if you need more information, or check out this forum for a hints/spoilers/strategies.

good luck!

Also are you changing the time on your computer? I did that and had the same problem. Once I quit changing the time, I have had no problems.
