not to sound like a NOOB...
BUT....
i just beat virtual villagers but i got no notification so did i miss some thing?
also if there are upgrades how would i go about getting them?
i already bought it so would it be an add on or would i have to perchase a whole new version?

well you solve the puzzles... don't think you should really think of it as "beating" it, since your villagers can go on with their lives until you delete the game And you can always play several games at different levels (easy, normal hard)
For the upgrade, just download the trial from the same place you bought and install to the same directory so as not to lose your village(s)
