I have had to re format my drive due to a virus, I had backed up my isola21 file on a seperate drive. So i was hoping that after re installing the game on my newly formated pc i could use it to save my game. Its not working, Have i lost my little friends . do i have to start again ..sob sob

Best to back up all the isola files next time...but might be able to do this: start a new player with the same name as you did before (opening the isola file in a text editor will show this on the second line or so). Exit out and copy your isola21 file into the directory and make a copy of it called isola1 Not sure if this will work, but it's worth a shot...if not maybe you can attach the file to a reply and i'll see what i can do
