I am going crazy!! What am I doing wrong? I can get the first level of farming but when I try to get the next level (fishing), I run out of food before I can get it. Does anyone else have the problem of their crops taking like 1500 minutes to the next harvest? When they first start it's like 60 minutes. Then the next thing I know, we are at 1500 minutes and my villagers starve to death before I can teach them to fish. What am I doing wrong?

Are you adjusting your computer's system clock? That can seriously mess up the real-time engine of the game.

You really have to understand the effects of messing with your computer's system clock - it affects not only the game, but every application (and the operating system) on your computer.

I don't do it unless it's on a test machine that's used for nothing else.

Well then I guess I will just have to be patient...dang it I wanna play some more...

Why don't you start several games? Trying to keep 5 different villages going will keep you hopping!

Thank you for the help. As soon as I stopped changing the time, I was able to get more things accomplished even though it took longer.
