how do i get the kids to go to school the school has been built but i hit the drum an they jus stand there

Where is the drum i can't find it nor figure out how to send them to school??

That is pretty much all they do. They don't go inside.

The drum sits just to the right of the lower right corner of the schoolhouse--it looks like a log but it really is a drum. I hit it accidentally one day and all the chillens flocked to the schoolhouse. Once you get them all congregated in front of the school, hit the drum a couple more times. It's too cute to see the kids shuffle around--quickly!!

Does it make them smarter if they go? Do they learn a skill faster, I mean?

hikikoa, no sending them to school does not have any effect on their skill level. Having the school does however increase their skill level at birth.
