Just wondering if anyone has played around with replacing the music in Virtual Villagers and having their own music? I was bored and decided to do this and it's pretty cool to have your own music playing in the game. I guess you could always just mute the sound and then have a media player running while playing the game but I like my way better lol.

When a game is really intersting I like to find out a lot about how the game is made. I'm pretty skilled reverse engineer, but I'm only using these skills as a hobby. In normal life I'm a teacher so I have no intention or benefit to put my gained knowledge in to commercial use; it's merely for my own understanding about how far and creative some programmers can be. It usualy makes me respect the games a lot more when I see all the hard work that is done on it. I don't usualy manipulate the gameplay unless there's is something really anoying... I like this music, I like the game... it's really smartly done, so I leave it the way it is. Sorry to say that I don't like the graphics that much... I can imagine these graphics were originaly made for the handhelds and later converted to windows and mac platform. (that's the way they look) I'm getting a bit on a sidetrack here but I like to state that, to me, this is one of those games that more or less play in your mind. The graphics are nice enough to support the game, but frankly the quality of the graphics is not that high... Sorry to say but I can do better myself. This is just ONE opinion and I'm not trying to give the LDW graphicsdesigner a hard day here... just being honest.
