Alright well I shut down my computer and obviosuly I didn't pause my Virtual Villagers game mode so I wake up this morning and I check the game and a typhoon washed all my food away which was like 900 something and now I have no other means of food since I was working my way up to getting new food sources and I had 8 people counting a new baby but now I only have 4 left (3 males and one female) and it figures that everyone that died had almost top skills. This just sucks!! lol I don't think I like this game very much anymore. grr well guess I have to start over cause I know there is no hope left since any day the rest of the Villagers are going to be dead since my top healers died.

That's what keeps the game interesting. On Fish Tycoon I messed with the clock once and didn't notice I changed the year and wiped out 3 tanks of fish including 5 magic fish.

Well after I posted that message within minutes the surviving villagers died so I started over and now I make sure to put the game in pause mode when it's not on cause I don't want that to happen again!!

I woke up in the middle of the night, thought "poop, I left the game in 2X. Checked the game and set it to a slower speed before going back to bed.

well if it helps i DID put the game on pause... went out for dinner and a movie etc... came home ... turned the game back on and woooof.... the little beggars had eaten all the berries and did 0 work.... i dont trust the pause button anymore lol

Did you happen to leave it on the menu screen when you paused it? If so, you didn't really pause the game. The game speed settings don't take effect until you return to the main game screen or exit the game.
