the amount of berries in my berry bush is pretty low (about 260) so when a villager goes to forrage, they pick only 2 at the time... ok no problem. However, when my villager gets to the food storage to deposit the freshly picked 2 berries, the food count goes down 2, then back up 2... so there is no real gain by picking the berries any more... anyone ever see that?

What you're probably seeing is that one of the villagers is eating at the same time that the food is deposited. The villagers don't always go over to the food bin to eat.

I thought of that, but it happens repeatively.... I'll have to watch a little longer to see if it's consistent! :-)

The villagers eat all the time, especially on 2X speed!

LOL well... I stand corrected, I put a couple of villagers back on forraging duty and watched them for a while... and sure enough it didn't do it this time! Lucky me, the few times I paid attention to the berry picking, someone had to eat at the same time... or maybe it was the farmer who was eating the berries on it's way back to the food storage! LOL

Love this game BTW :-)
