Hi All,

I'm new to the forum and new to sim games, personally i think that games in real time are pretty cool.

I need some suggestions though i have level 2 on everything farming, medicine, science, building, fertility & spirituality.

I only have 9 people in my village i seem to manage to kill them all have to start over if i go any higher and i have started over about 6 times already so dont want to do that again if i can avoid it.

I have 50,000 points and around 1700 in food, a few of my best villagers are getting elderly around 60 and they are masters so dont want to loose them, does elderly mean they will die soon?

What i need suggestions on is what tech would you buy next or what is your ophion on what i should do?

Thanks for any replies - i will aperciate the help and ideas you may have

Yes elderly means they are "old" and will die soon the higher the level of medicine the longer they live but none the less that's your little warning they are getting on in years. I recemend getting your Harvesting and construction as soon as possible science spirtuality medicine and I waited untill last to get my 3rd Fertility. But the fastest way to gain points is through Science. You need level three of harvesting aka food just to servive plain and simple. Berries and crops run out, fishing is unlimited! You do need to breed though I think the dieing when you are over 9 villagers is just a bad run of luck but nothing you should worry about. Hope that helped a little!

Can anyone tell me what I could do to keep the villagers from running out of food? I know that in my first game - before I killed them all off - oops! I had some crops growing, but I dont remember how I did that. The other problem was just that there didnt seem to be anything else to do as far as training & improving their skills...wish I had more specific questions, but its easier to think of them while I'm actually playing. Thanks

Thanks angel for your input.

I was thinking about getting my level 3 farming then work on medicine if it wasnt too late for my older villagers but i can see the faster way to gain points from your post is through level 3 science so i think i'll cut my losses on the older villagers when they die and train the younger people in my village like crazy to be masters or at least skilled in more than one area.

Seems like you are right farming, science and construction should be at the top of my list to things to work for.

I dont need any more huts right now for 9 villagers so construction doesnt seem that important (third thing to get?) unless im missing something by not working on it earlier?

Thanks for the help i appreciate it

YaelleG,

You need level 2 farming for growing crops - to keep them from running out of food have one person forage the berry tree then one or two farming then keep the rest on the research table the faster you can get to level 2 farming the better and as i just learnt level 3 farming is even better -lol.

As far as training goes try mixing it up if one person is skilled in one area switch it so they learn something new some babysitting will be required though if they wander off just pick them up and put them back where there supposed to be.

Hope that helps

Construction is important in the since that it is needed to complete a few of your "puzzle's" but yes Farming should be your number one goal for a better food supply then the science. Let me know if I can help any more! Good luck!!

Thanks angelz - i went ahead about bought level 3 farming as you are right it is important for growth in the village and to keepthem alive - i have recently learnt how to train more builders in the village as i only had one who is getting old. I'm working on science so i can get more points on the others to help get them easier - thanks for the luck too - ever since i found this forum my villagers have been thriving no more frustrations i hope Thanks for the help i will definatly post again if i need another push in the right direction
