That works on all of LDW's real-time games, but you should carefully consider the implications of changing the system clock. Many applications, ranging from anti-virus software to calendar and email programs - not to mention the operating system itself, rely on the system clock.

In addition, you can cause disaster in your games, if you're not careful. In short, the consequences of "time-travel" should be understood before you make changes to the system clock.

I was just wondering... my computer automatically adjusts to winter- and summertime. This occures 2 times a year; once the clock is set 1 hour in advance, in the winter the clock is set back by 1 hour. I assume this will affect my game as well? Maybe something to keep in mind for the developers.

Actually, I have found that this cheat does not work on my computer. I've tried it a couple of times and it doesn't have any effect on the game.

Unless you know what your doing and what problems you can cause with other programs on your system you shouldn't mess with the Clock. With that said do so at your own risk.....There can be consenquenses in the game as well...(Lack of enjoyment for one as it's kinda like CHEATING no self gratification)

Yeah -- I rather enjoyed watching the village progress rather than setting the clock ahead just to get everything done in a day or two. It's more satisifying that way.

And right on the system consequences -- I used to use an email server that required that your system clock match their clock within 10 minutes or you could not log on to get your email. Not worth the trouble you can cause.
