Fish Tycoon will be available for the PC soon. If you go here you can sign up to be notified by email when it is released.

You don't say what you've already purchased, but now that you have plenty of room to breed fish, you might want to improve your tanks so that your fish will have a better tank environment and you can try more exotic breeds.

I purchased fish tycoon a few days ago and am hooked! I'm doing pretty well, breeding fish and selling them, however, a great many baby fish die. Why is that?

Any other tips would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks,
Marcee

You are probably breeding fish that are too fragile to live in your current tank environment!! Try breeding heartier fish until you can afford tank upgrades.... then breed all the varieties you would like!

Thank you, Michelle. Can you tell me which are the hardier fish?

I forget the actual names of the fish... :
But as Ladycfii has said "breeding identical (or nearly identical) fish from the original group is always safe. Cross-breeding species may or may not produce fishies that will live.
If you get it right, you can come up with some fish that will live a little beyond adulthood and can be bred and sold for much more than the common fish, but it will take some trial and error (and some dead fishies)."
