Now I'm truly convinced there are jumbies (ghosts) on my island. One female villager, Leia, suddenly takes off as if the hounds of hell are after her. I have no male breeders, and I've caught her a couple of times as she starts running away - with not a male within shouting, far less touching distance. She even took off from the laundry hut, and not another soul, male OR female, came out of the hut or was even close to it. She must be psychic or just seeing things.. lol

nah.. she doesn't like running.. and she's actually running AWAY... same as if she were running from a suitor :P

I've got a few that run all over. When I click on them, it says they're "exercising".

Yeh.. once food has reached a certain level where hunger is not imminent, they start on the little luxuries of their life, like exercising (in fairlly predictable runs), and chatting etc... This young lady, when you clicked on her, it actually said "running away".. still trying to figure from what.. she hasn't done it for a while though... maybe the ghosts were exorcised.. .hahaha

I have noticed the same thing in the game I currently have going. Several times now I have clicked on differents villagers zooming around only to see that their Action was 'Running away'. It has happened on several different villagers now, both male and female, often when they are standing totally away from anyone else. I thought it was weird too, lol.

I have noticed the game messenges sometimes run up late. So when you pick up one villager and drop it in order to pick up the next one, the comment of the first villager can still be read in the bottom of the screen. This usualy happens to me when two villagers walk through eachother and I pick up the wrong one. Maybe that's were the "running away" comment came from?

I've seen the late game messages from time to time.. but this isn't the case here.. and this incident happens in my game only with this individual. Karesse's description "zooming away" is pretty accurate.. lol

Ok, call this a coincidence or not but it happenend to me just 5 minutes ago. I now totaly get your point. The villagers standing on his own in the middle of a field, all of a sudden starts running like a freak. Comes to my mind a different "ghosty" thing. Sometimes when I scroll a little north from the village centre, near the berrybush, I can clearly hear a crackling noise. First I thought it was a sound glitch, later I thought it was noise the working people spreaded... but now I'm not sure anymore. It not always happens, but it does always occure in the same area, regardles whether there are people at work or not. Anyone heard these noises too?

Likes bananas; dislikes fish, snakes. Maybe she imagines snakes coming at her while she's day-dreaming, ya figure? lol

Maybe one villiager is wantting to Mate and the other doesn't and runs away right away instead of going to Waitting for someone?

Rif, this is very different from running away from a would-be mate. There's no other villager near her and sometimes just clicking on her starts the running away process. She'll stop, you click on her again, and off she's gone like a bat out of hell.

Yup, I have one villager who always runs away no matter where he is or what i have him do!

i'll put him at one task, he'll do one "round" and then zoom! he's running again! LOL
