I'm on my first game, and I've never renamed any, although I might take the suggestion of giving them names related to their mother's name in my next game, to keep track of who is who.

My villager name is Sogan,Nuru,Kwaku,Ciuk,Wabu,Tanak,Qwara, all of this name is rather strange and all of these name are from male villager

My favorites will always be Tofu and Kayak, although I also am very parcial to Rongo (just cuz it sounds funny).
