Actually, I did just that!
Had a Soda, named another one Tonic after I had a Gin, and then got the hang of it and named some other girls Whiskey and Club....
It was not the weirdest name I got I must say. Some names are just TOO hard to pronounce or remember. That is why I started to give my villagers names by generation. First generation are country-like names, second generation music-artists I like, next generation will be people I like and/or they resemble, and so on. There are some villagers that really do resemble some friends of mine, so I like to name those after them. Makes it a bit more emotional when they die, mind you...
i get sad too, i think i honor the dead more than the villagers
My favorites were Tuna, Ahi, Tofu, and Unagi.
