Actually, I did just that! Had a Soda, named another one Tonic after I had a Gin, and then got the hang of it and named some other girls Whiskey and Club....  It was not the weirdest name I got I must say. Some names are just TOO hard to pronounce or remember. That is why I started to give my villagers names by generation. First generation are country-like names, second generation music-artists I like, next generation will be people I like and/or they resemble, and so on. There are some villagers that really do resemble some friends of mine, so I like to name those after them. Makes it a bit more emotional when they die, mind you...

 My favorites were Tuna, Ahi, Tofu, and Unagi. Not sure they go well with Soda and Gin though! -- jen

Yeah, those are the weird and funny names, aren't they? I once got an Itchy to, and it inspired me to set her right unto breeding...  She did very well, too!

I have these villagers too!These names sound so funny and so qute...ohh I just love them...I just love this game!The wierd names which My villagers have had so far are:
Kanga
Binga
Papu and Pawin (Twins)
Obi
Kirika
Ichhicka
Soda.

My Master Builder is Kayak. Poema is the one that runs everywhere (I LOVE her). I also have a girl named Asby, a girl named Shuka and a boy named Ponui.
I'm on my first game, and I've never renamed any, although I might take the suggestion of giving them names related to their mother's name in my next game, to keep track of who is who.
