Hi!

I just installed the Village Sim demo onto my Palm. They built one new hut onto an existing foundation in the middle of my village. But now they aren't building anymore and I don't see any more foundations or places to build. My people are getting tons of food and tech points but they are getting older and I need more houses to breed them more. Is this just a limitation on the demo or do I have to do something to get them to build another hut?

not sure about the demo, but you need to check one of your villagers (or more) as a builder

Yup, got several villagers with high builder skill checked as builders. They only seem to repair the one hut, not build new ones.

Eeve, I assume you are playing the mac version. From my understanding it is a limited demo, meaning you can just do enough to understand the game to see if you like it or not, and most likely you are limited on one hut.

Ok, gotcha. It's been a long time since I played the demo on that plat form, and from what I can remember is yes, it limits you to one hut.

Oh, ok. I'm thinking that for me, this game isn't worth purchasing at $21can- wish there was more to it, or it was cheaper. Thanks for the info & help guys.

I agree with Waren, It's well worth it for any platform Palm, Windows, or Mac, I'd even buy the Pocket PC version if there was one

I am having a problem with my builders as well. But, I'm not using the demo, I have the full version and I don't have anymore than the three huts either. Will they build automatically? Or is there something I can do to make them build?

As soon as your population increases to the point where accommodation is getting critical, the "cornerstone" of a new hut will appear, and your builders will find it and start building
