I had one stranger in a boat ask to get samples of herbs, and I gave him samples and he made one of my villagers into a master doctor (compelety filled up the bar) from her not having any medical experience.

I saw that almoste everybody have the maximum population 92, but I saw some screenshots with population 300 or 700. Somebody know how is this possible?
