The upgrade has the mushrooms working very well. Nice not to have children looking excitedly everywhere except at the mushrooms staring them in the face

Is the upgrade for the PC version? If so how will I know if I am downloading the upgraded version from Big Fish? It just says Virtual Villagers. Do I just install over the version I have? It is the full version. Thanks Connie

A few small bug fixes.

Just a question to find out if I've got everything right:
I've upgraded to version 1.01. Kids are not supposed to go and find the mushrooms all on their own in this version, are they? I mean, the mushrooms DO wilt quickly, so sometimes you and/or the children are just a bit too late spotting and picking them. Am I understanding this correctly?
(I do sometimes really depend on kids picking mushrooms as foodstorage runs out, so if there's a better way of getting them rather than dragging kids around the island for half an hour in order to get to them quick enough....I'd love to hear about that!)

V1.01 fixed the bug that caused the children to be unable to pick the mushrooms once you found them, but you still have to go looking for them. The children won't do that on their own (and they're not supposed to).

Thought as much. Maybe better this way too. It would spoil the fun quite a bit, wouldn't it?

Thought for the next full release (if it doesn't require a ton of coding)... dragging around the island looking for mushrooms could become a little carpal tunnelish. Maybe it could be possible to code the scroll button in the mouse to move around, rather than click and drag?

How do you get upgraded mushrooms? And I hear that there is an upgrade for this game???? How do you get it for PC?

It is version 1.01, and you will need to download it from the site you originaly bought VV from. It will be a free upgrade.

After doing this has anyone else locked up when checking stats? I have to hold my power button for 5 seconds to reset my entire computer after doing this. Just wondering if this was a known problem.

I had a issue on a PC that has Internet Protection tools on it the game seemed to lock solid and found out a message Poped in the background I didn't see because I was in FULL screen, Try turning it FULL screen off and see if that helps....

It's only when checking stats, I have allowed full access to VV through my McAfee. It never happened before I checked my stats just before reinstalling to fix the mushroom bug, and it worked fine. Now every time i try to update stats it locks right up.

When you check your stats and hit Refresh it access the internet And Yes it was McAfee causeing my problem on that system....

Most security programs detect when an application has changed, and require you to re-authorize access.
